01 — Live music
Hire a pianist in Fairfield & New Haven County
Live solo piano for events across Fairfield and New Haven Counties, Connecticut — restaurants, receptions, openings and private parties. Two to three hours of piano that fills the room without taking it over: standards, film scores, contemporary covers, and requests from the floor. The set is built for the room and the hour, not recycled from the last booking. A two-hour set is $250, and the New York metro is available on request.
Background sets that let people talk. Volume and repertoire adjusted through the evening as the room fills and empties.
Arrival music, something quieter through dinner, and a livelier late set. Requests welcome throughout.
Public spaces and storefronts. Portable keyboard and small PA available if there is no piano on site.
What a booking includes
Every quote covers the same things, so there is nothing to negotiate on the day.
A weighted digital keyboard and a small PA if the venue has no piano, at no additional charge. If there is a house piano, he will ask about it in advance.
Arrival ahead of the start time, set up and levelled before the first guest. Setup is not counted against your booked hours.
Tell him the occasion, the rough age of the room and anything that must or must not be played. Requests are prepared in advance where you send them ahead.

Repertoire and requests
He plays covers across every genre and takes requests — it is how the YouTube channel runs, and it is how a booking runs too. Standards and jazz for dinner service, film and contemporary covers for a mixed room, and whatever a guest asks for if it can be played. Send anything that matters to you when you book, and it is prepared rather than improvised. If there is a first dance, a family song, or a piece someone would rather not hear, that is worth saying in the same message.

Booking questions
How far will he travel in Connecticut?
Fairfield and New Haven Counties are covered at the standard rate — that includes Bridgeport, New Haven, Stamford, Norwalk, Waterbury, Danbury, Milford and Meriden. Beyond 30 miles from base there is a flat $40 travel charge. The New York metro is available on request.
What if the venue has no piano?
A weighted digital keyboard and a small PA are available at no extra cost, and are included in the quoted rate. Say so when you send the date and they come along. If the venue does have a piano, he will ask about its condition beforehand rather than discover it on the night.
How much does a wedding or event pianist cost in Fairfield County?
A two-hour set is $250, which is the minimum booking, and each additional hour is $125. Typical Connecticut rates run $300 to $500 for the same two hours. These are introductory rates held until 31 December 2026.
Can guests request songs on the night?
Yes, and they are welcome to. Requests are a normal part of the set rather than an interruption — he plays covers across every genre and takes requests on his channel the same way. If there is a piece that matters to you, send it ahead so it is prepared properly.
How far in advance should we book?
Send the date as soon as you have it. Saturdays and December fill first. A deposit holds the slot and is refundable up to seven days before the event.
Do you play background music or a performance set?
Both, and usually both in one evening. Dinner service wants music that lets people talk; a reception wants arrival music, something quieter through dinner, and a livelier late set. Volume and repertoire are adjusted through the evening rather than set once.
Have a date in mind?
Send the date, the venue and roughly how long. You'll have a quote within 24 hours.
